Literature Text

Curled here
all alone
No warmth
No sound
Rattling breath
Freezing tear
more than ever, I wish you were here.

Pull me close
Share your heat
Kiss my neck
If you're feeling sweet

Let me snuggle
On your chest
In that spot
That I love best

Breathing slow
Completely calm
Finally free
From nightmare songs

I love you, too
Your words are hushed
My fingers trace you
Stroke and brush

At last soaking
Into a dream
You are there
The perfect scene
I haven't slept through a full night in about a week. I toss and turn and when I finally do become unconcious, I'm pleagued by nightmares of the worst kind. No, I don't want to try drug induced sleep, I want someone to share my bed with.
